New York day 3

This morning I tasted my first ever donut from Dunwell Doughnuts (how exactly are you meant to spell donut/doughnut? I dont know) I got a traditional glazed donut and omfg it was the best donut I have ever had in my life (not exaggerating) The donut literally had layers of flour and when I bit in it it would bounce back up cause it was just so fluffy.

After cooning over my donut, we hopped on the subway and took the train to the south of Central Park. The park was gorgeous, and lived up to expectations. It definitely was a picturesque place to be and I can only imagine visiting the park as a New Yorker and just chilling out, maybe lying on the grass listening to some tunes, or sitting on the bench to enjoy a coffee. Just to take a break from all the hustle and bustle that is New York- CONCRETE JUNGLE WHERE DREAMS ARE MADDEEE OF

Haha I thought this sewer thing was cute cause it reminded me of Parks and Rec.

Chae being adorable in front of the Central park skating rink. Also notice that she lost one of her gloves so she literally was just wearing one glove for the rest of the trip haha. The best

#NoAlbumIsCompleteWithoutJumpPhotos. I spent so long jumping and this bitch Chae couldnt even get one good photo. There's so many photos of me pre/post jumping. These are the only semi-decent photos but theyre both embarassing. Enjoy

The squirrels.
Such fluff.
Wow.
Much amaze.

Then we went to MOMA- The museum of modern art. Where rich, privileged people throw some shit together, place some self-imposed meaning to it and then charge people to look at it.
There was a piece where it was literally just a black triangle on the floor. ART

I only took photos of this cause elephants.
Some rich guy put an elephant in a white room and filmed it 360 and called it art.
But I'll let it go cause elephants.

Most of the time I was just walking around snapchatting my friends sarcastically but then I found that there was real art in the museum #180 suddenly things got interesting

SERIOUSLY THOUGH THIS IS REAL VAN GOGH.
THE REAL THING.
It was a bit different in real life than on internet photos cause it was a bit more diluted and not as defined. But maybe thats because its hard to preserve artworks for a long period of time.

AND I LOVE MAGRITTE but it was a special exhibit which meant spending more money. Aint nobody got extra money for an extra exhibit #CollegeLife #CollegeBudget

Then we went back to Times Square to line up at TKTS for discount tickets for Broadway. The line had about 200 people in it and everyone was so impatient waiting in line in the cold. The people working for TKTS kept shouting at people to have at least 2 or 3 extra preferences in case they didn't get their first choice. We wanted to watch Chicago, the Radio City christmas special, and then Annie if we really had no other choice. After 41 minutes of waiting, we finally reached the TKTS cashiers and we actually got two seats for Chicago. I was so excited by this point I just wanted to be in the actual theatre watching the show.... even though I had no idea what it was about. Something about satire and something about justice?

For dinner, before the show, we went to Shake Shack at Madison Square garden. Unlike the day before, it was actually open. I got a Shack Stack burger which had two patties, one regular patty and a portobello mushroom patty which was fried on the outside and had cheese and mushrooms on the inside. YES it tasted exactly as amazing as it sounds.

 LOOK AT THIS BABY

After getting pregnant with food babies we finally went to see Chicago on BROADWAY OMFGGGGggg. It was sooo perfect. They told us not to take photos but I did anyways #yolo

Everyone was so hot and they could all sing and life is unfair.
Also I bought a soft drink... for ten fucking bucks. But at least it came with the word Chicago printed on it. Chae fell asleep because Chae had a food baby and Chae said it was very hot inside but in reality Chae does not appreciate art in the form of dancing and singing (Just joking) I thought the theatres on Broadway would be bigger and more impressive. The guy next to me had a bigger-than-average butt so it was difficult to fit all our bags and things in the small space that was our seats. Besides that though everything was great and it was the most perfect first broadway show experience everrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

I'd throw my pie for you,
Emma
