A bear for a mascot? Psh, see you later alli gator

I apologise for the title of this blogpost. I think I'm the only one who ever gets my own jokes.
Onnnnnn Saturdayyyy (IM LOSING TRACK OF TIME HERE) I went to a college footy game at Berkeley.
It was Washington v Berkeley, and Berkeley lost- not that I was going for either team.
Most of the time we all had no clue what was going on. There was just a lot of tackling and a lot of butts.
Are they butts or are they butt pads? I will never know.
I don't know, it wasn't awesome... It was bloody hot as there and we got seats in the sun all day. A game goes for 5 hours and there's actually only 4 quarters of 15 minutes of gameplay. So an hour of gameplay and 4 hours of breaks in between.
I enjoyed baseball a lot more :D
Also because the atmosphere wasnt as fun.
But! What I really appreciated was their uni campus
(It makes Macq and SFSU look like some semi-qualified architects took shits on some patches of grass and called it campuses)
I really like sandstone buildings :) I feel like this would be the bigger, more spread out version of Usyd. SFSU is more comparable to Macq.

My friend and I walked into the music library because she loves music libraries (specific right) and I think the girl working at the desk there overheard me design-jizzing over the campus, so she was like
"Do you like it here?"
and I was like "I love it, its beautiful. I would love to study here"
and she was like
"....yeaaaaahh..."
you know like with that tone
and I asked her why she didnt like it and she said it was too dense?
What does she even mean!??!?! There's grass everywhere. I would be cripple walking from one side to another side. I'd need to hire a buggy and drive that little thing everywhere.

The grass is always greener I guess. There's always a reason not to like something.

I would trade with you, girl working at the desk of the music library.

GIVE ME YOUR CAMPUS.

I'd throw my pie for you,
Emma
x

PS. Why are the cheerleaders at Berkeley so much hotter than the ones at SF state?
PPS. To be very honest I liked the band playing more than the football or the cheerleaders...

Ahhh you got to experience American football! :D
Although definitely agree about sitting in the sun for that long...
Anyway, great post - really enjoy reading them all. And btw, I like your orange top! :)
