Tamales?

The only thing I know about tamales is 

"... you just earned your ticket on the HOT TAMALE TRAIN!!!!!!!" 

I dont know her name but Ill just tell you she's the crazy loud woman from SYTYCD. Actually I think its Mary? 

Anyway, I had no idea how to eat it when I got it so I had to ask the woman who sold it to me how to eat it. She had to unwrap it for me which was embarrassing. But whatever! 

Gotta try all the weird food right! 

So a tamale is like a floury layer on the outside, then your choice of meat on the inside. I got the pork one and it tasted just like pulled pork and mild chilli, wrapped inside a doughy exterior. 

I'm not sure why they used leaves on the outside of it because it had no influence on the taste. 

It looks a lot better than it tastes. 

Also I was expecting them to be sold on a train.

Why does TV lie to me?
