"I always find inspiration in high places"

Two nights ago I went out for sushi with some friends and then went back to their house. The sushi here is good, but expensive. I should really learn how to take into account the tax and the tips for the final bill because $20 worth of sushi somehow turned into $26.
Anyway, it was hella nice because at his house we just chilled and played guitar.
And his roommate told me that she had got me into an acapella group whilst I was playing. (I didn't know I was auditioning?!)
I play really basic chords, and my friend plays and sings and DJs too and does music as his major, which is pretty intimidating.
Anyway, he brought me up to the top of the house via the secret prohibited fireway.
The view was so great there but fuck apple and it shitty quality products! At least some of it shows.
From high places the city always seems like a map of shimmering dots because all of the buildings are just so flat and contained.
Anyway, it was scary because half of the ladder was just hovering over nothing, so if you fell you probably would've died from the 9th floor.
He was more scared of heights than I was though.
10 points to Gryffindor to whoever can guess who's silhouette belongs to who.

...Chicken nuggets are 5 bucks for 20 pieces.

Five bucks
for twenty
pieces

When I was eating I had to pull a poker face all throughout lunch because deep inside I was screaming with excitement at how many nuggets I had for only $5.00.

A bear for a mascot? Psh, see you later alli gator

I apologise for the title of this blogpost. I think I'm the only one who ever gets my own jokes.
Onnnnnn Saturdayyyy (IM LOSING TRACK OF TIME HERE) I went to a college footy game at Berkeley.
It was Washington v Berkeley, and Berkeley lost- not that I was going for either team.
Most of the time we all had no clue what was going on. There was just a lot of tackling and a lot of butts.
Are they butts or are they butt pads? I will never know.
I don't know, it wasn't awesome... It was bloody hot as there and we got seats in the sun all day. A game goes for 5 hours and there's actually only 4 quarters of 15 minutes of gameplay. So an hour of gameplay and 4 hours of breaks in between.
I enjoyed baseball a lot more :D
Also because the atmosphere wasnt as fun.
But! What I really appreciated was their uni campus
(It makes Macq and SFSU look like some semi-qualified architects took shits on some patches of grass and called it campuses)
I really like sandstone buildings :) I feel like this would be the bigger, more spread out version of Usyd. SFSU is more comparable to Macq.

My friend and I walked into the music library because she loves music libraries (specific right) and I think the girl working at the desk there overheard me design-jizzing over the campus, so she was like
"Do you like it here?"
and I was like "I love it, its beautiful. I would love to study here"
and she was like
"....yeaaaaahh..."
you know like with that tone
and I asked her why she didnt like it and she said it was too dense?
What does she even mean!??!?! There's grass everywhere. I would be cripple walking from one side to another side. I'd need to hire a buggy and drive that little thing everywhere.

The grass is always greener I guess. There's always a reason not to like something.

I would trade with you, girl working at the desk of the music library.

GIVE ME YOUR CAMPUS.

I'd throw my pie for you,

PS. Why are the cheerleaders at Berkeley so much hotter than the ones at SF state?
PPS. To be very honest I liked the band playing more than the football or the cheerleaders...

Nature's a bitch

Nature urgently called one of my friends today as we were coming back home on the muni. But we couldn't find a bathroom anywhere so we ran around looking for one- and to our dismay there was none anywhere so things got really REALLY desperate. I mean she was about to shit her pants soon. Then a stranger came up to us and they were like "hey wanna use my bathroom? My apartment is up the street. Just don't steal my shit"

I was going to say no because STRANGER DANGER and all I could think of was WE'RE GONNA DIE.

But my friend took a leap and said yes and I had to go with or she would've shit her pants right there and then.

We went into their apartment and it was chill and I had a good time chatting to them.

Now I can say I've risked my life for my friend just so she could take a dump.

I FUCKING deserve brownie points for this. Just sayin.

NSFW (Seriously. Naked people in this post. Don't click if you dont wanna see)

On Sunday, after going to the Exploratorium at Pier 15 by the wharf, a group of us went to Folsom Street Fair.
This definitely was an "only in San Francisco" event... featuring lots of naked people,
ass, tits, dicks, dicks and more dicks.
I think it was/ will always be the most penis I will ever see in one day.
#RecordBreaker
Most of my time was spent pivoting between the crowd and avoiding contact with any balls. (You think I'm joking)

FSF is the third largest fair in San Francisco and its basically just people showcasing BDSM and promoting BDSM culture.
These photos are already mild compared to some of the other shit that was happening.
It was pretty interesting but I dont think I agree very much with it in that it probably gives the impression to more conservative families that all queers act this way.
#Sinful? They would probably say.
But! With that said, I still found it really entertaining and it certainly was something different.

"Only in San Francisco"
- You know you have to go to an event when thats included in the description.

PS. How did this fair ever get this big?
That's something I want to know.

Exploratorium

On the morning of Sunday we went to the Exploratorium because it was free entry that day.
It would've cost like $20 for a ticket, which I thought was crazy.
It wasnt that great but probably because we have Questacon at home (The only thing thats #worth at Canberra)
It felt like a Psych lesson because all of the weird phenomena and interactive activites were based off of things I've learnt in class already.
I'm a smartarse duh
I already know everything there is to know psh
(Sometimes I wonder if my sarcasm comes across on the screen or through text)
Oh. The only thing that was interesting was the exhibit of plants which shrivel up when you touch them.
Reminds me of home back at HK :)

I'd throw my pie for you,
