So this will be a very brief. Thanksgiving post. I went down to LA with my gorgeous friend, Katie, and lived with her family for a good week or so in the Thanksgiving break. I went down for four nights.
Cause every roadtrip needs fuckin in-n-out. When I first came here I thought they were overrated but now I really appreciate the true beauty of it ahhhh
Animal style is the best.
Here's my second time trying a Twinkies, but I didnt think much of it besides the fact that its like 5 blocks of fat condensed into a cake
Katie lookin cayutttee. We went to a place called rocknbrews or something and it was a rock and roll themed restaurant. I could tell people from LA were hella different from San Franciscans at this restaurant already.
Theyre more like Sydneyers than San Franciscans are.
KATIE HAS THE CUTEST HOUSE EVER. Like, look at this. It's so cute. Look at all the decorations and stare me in the eyes and tell me its not
Second day, went for brekkie at this nice local cafe.
Then Katie and I headed off to the beach near her house.
There was a mini aquarium along the beach and there was a shark eating the other shark's arm. The other shark wasnt even fully dead yet.
What is a trip without jumping photos?
PHOTOCEPTION.
(#Adorable kids)
At night we went to visit Katie's friend.
The next day we grabbed a breakfast burrito at this taco place near Katie's primary school. IT WAS AMAZING. I dont usually like burritos. Or breakfast (besides bacon) but omgg so greaaat.
Also we watched hunger games before Thanksgiving cooking.
We made something and toffee. I dont remember what the something was because I only cared for the fucking good toffee. Eurgh. So good.
The dog's name was Bosley.
The next day we went to Venice beach. Did some shopping. And the fact that it was black friday meant that things were much cheaper than the usual. Venice beach was gorgeous. It made me feel very Socal-ian
For dinner we had mexican food. The stuff I had was pretty good. I forgot what it was called though.
After dinner- CHRISTMAS TREE SHOPPINGggg. I dont know if its just my weird family or whether its not australian tradition. Do people get christmas trees or am I not aussie enough to know
At night we visited another one of Katie's friends and got icecream beforehand at Handel's.
Cookie and cream never fails
The roadtrip back home.
