Mission district?

I love San Francisco because it's so different. All the streets and the people are so vibrant, and everywhere you look there's street art (or at least in Mission). If you thought Newtown was hipster, you haven't seen San Francisco before! (Do I sound like a travel ad or what??? Flights now for $50 only! Hurry while stocks last. AdsponsoredbytheAustraliangovernmentCanberra. No rainchecks.)
The first place we went to was Mission today,
and the first thing that caught my eyes were the newspaper vending boxes (What are they called exactly?) It reminded me of that episode in Simpsons where Lisa gets stuck in one and she ends up naked. There were no newspapers inside but I plan to buy one if I ever see a box with newspapers still inside.
The second photo just screams Tumblr. Hipster. Records. Artsy Farsty.
San Francisco more like Sart Fartsisco (...Was that bad? Sorry. Not sorry.)
Also we walked past this place called Philz Coffee BEST coffee in the world. Gotta trust that underline right? I mean anything that's underlined must be 100% fact. So I ended up going inside and buying a coffee. Underline that shit. Anyway, if you can see what it says on the blackboard... there are about a million coffee blends. And I thought I was a coffee expert? Apparently not. They serve some of their coffee with mint leaves. Pree coo.
I got the Philharmonics coffee with a mint leaf but ordered the wrong thing because it was hot. It tasted funky but unique and I think I will go back in the future to order something more banal... but defs cold, with ice, and mint leaves.
We also ate at Phat Philly (That photo I took from the internet because I forgot to take one) and had cheesesteak. I HAD NO IDEA WHAT THAT WAS. But as you can see it's like a hotdog but with beef, and other extras you can add on.
I'm not a freshman but that 15 feels inevitable to me.
Why do you always feel so inevitable to me? (10 points for whoever gets where this is from. No google. No cheating pls.)
I have more photos from today but I'll post them tomorrow if I have time. Have to sleep early for the first day of orientation tomorrow!
Wish you guys were here enjoying everything with me.

I'd throw my pie for you,
Emma
